This morning in Barangay Bogtongbod, Clarin, Bohol, Philippines, a man's body—which was already in a very decomposed state—was discovered dangling with a rope around his neck
Identity cards belonging to Matalom, Leyte resident Arnel Dagatan Albit were found at the crime scene.
The Clarin PNP chief, PLT. Amado Amba, stated that the victim is thought to have been deceased for more than a month. The lower part of the body has already separated due to the degree of decay. An estimated 30 to 50 meters from the road, the body was found by a local resident who was gathering firewood and was alerted by the foul odor.
The Clarin PNP is still looking into the matter.
