Tune Morant Chong Killed by Police in Roosevelt & Millard Shooting

Tragic news has emerged from Chicago as Tune Morant Chong, 33, was killed in a shooting Tuesday evening at the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Millard Avenue, authorities confirmed.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m., when Chicago Police responded to calls reporting two people shot inside a white Infiniti. Upon arrival, officers found Chong suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A second victim, a 23-year-old man, was also shot and remains in critical condition.

Police reports indicate both men were driving in the area when an unknown assailant, standing in the street, opened fire on their vehicle. The identity of the shooter has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
