Bulacan Police Officer Del Alimeri Deletes Facebook Account After Viral Video Shows Him Beating Partner Aira Seda Delacruz on Mother's Day

A police officer assigned to the Bulacan Provincial Police Office is facing scrutiny after a disturbing video surfaced on social media showing him physically assaulting his partner, Aira Seda Delacruz, in what appears to be a kitchen — reportedly on Mother's Day.

Officer Del Alimeri has since deactivated his Facebook account, seemingly in an attempt to disappear from public view after the video went viral and sparked widespread outrage online.

The footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms, shows Del Alimeri slapping and beating Delacruz in a domestic setting. The violence captured on camera drew immediate backlash, with many calling for swift accountability from law enforcement authorities.

Bulacan PPO officials have since issued a formal statement addressing the incident and the officer's involvement. According to the provincial police office, a thorough verification and investigation is now underway to determine the full circumstances surrounding the viral video.

"The Bulacan Police Provincial Office is currently conducting a thorough verification and investigation regarding the circulating social media post allegedly involving a police officer in the Province of Bulacan. The concerned unit has already been directed to determine the full circumstances of the incident and ensure that appropriate and proper action is taken in accordance with existing laws and regulations of the Philippine National Police," the statement read.

The Bulacan PPO emphasized that the organization does not tolerate any behavior that tarnishes the integrity and professionalism of the police force. Officials reminded all personnel to uphold the highest standards of discipline, responsibility, and respect for the rights of every citizen — whether on or off duty.

The statement also urged the public to be responsible on social media and to refrain from spreading unverified information that could interfere with the ongoing investigation.

"At the same time, we encourage the public to be responsible in the use of social media and to refrain from spreading unverified information that may affect the ongoing investigation. The Bulacan PPO remains committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the public through transparency, accountability, and immediate action on any complaint involving members of the police force," the statement concluded.

As the investigation continues, the public is watching closely to see whether Officer Del Alimeri will face internal disciplinary action, criminal charges, or both. The case raises serious questions about accountability within the police force, particularly when those sworn to protect and serve are accused of domestic violence against their own partners.
