Ng'ang'a mentioned that his son becomes problematic and threatening when intoxicated. He recounted a recent event where his son returned home, created a scene, and even brandished a knife at the household staff.

The pastor, known for his frankness, stated that he felt compelled to physically confront him.

“I have a son who drinks heavily. I told him he’s not really a proper drunkard; he’s just messing around,” Ng'ang'a remarked.

“I blocked him. He came over the other day, and I ended up beating him. I heard he took a P3 for me. Now, what is a P3?”

He further explained that he could no longer tolerate such behavior within his home environment.

“I never troubled my mother. I will not permit my child to threaten the women working in my home or roam around with a weapon. If you’re a prisoner, go serve your time in prison.”

Pastor Ng’ang’a on His Children's Inheritance

Ng’ang’a also emphasized that he will not bestow his wealth upon his children without them demonstrating their worth. He remarked that giving them property outright would not prevent others from laying claim to it because they had not earned it.

“You must pay a price. Even if I give it to you without charge, others will contest it. From now on, learn how to earn what you want.”

This isn’t the first occasion the pastor has expressed his thoughts on parenting. Previously, he stated that he would expel his daughters from the house if they became pregnant while still under his roof. He advocates for raising responsible children who acknowledge their choices.

His candid and tough-love stance has elicited mixed feedback online. Some individuals commended him for being genuine and courageous enough to openly discuss family challenges, while others criticized him for being excessively harsh.

Ng’ang’a’s experience serves as a reminder that even spiritual leaders encounter personal struggles. Despite his past, which includes being incarcerated, he claims that his faith transformed his life. Now, he desires for his children to understand that every blessing requires sacrifice.

“I fought spiritual battles to achieve who I am. My children must also strive to earn their position.”
