Abilene police are hunting for a suspect in the Western Bank robbery [PHOTOS]

This man is accused of robbing Western Bank on Buffalo Gap Road before fleeing the scene on foot about 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

The suspect is described as a man clothed in black clothes and possibly wearing a white helmet and gloves. He was last seen traveling north toward South 25th Street.

It is unclear whether a weapon was used during the crime, but no injuries were recorded.
