Daiwan Lemane Hopson is in police custody after stabbing Tisha Pee during an Airbnb pool party in Fleming Eastside [VIDEO]

According to reports, Daiwan Hopson was caught after killing Hussain Karie and Tisha Pee.

Detroit police said they received a complaint about a stabbing at a home in the 18500 block of Fleming shortly before 10 p.m.

According to Deputy Chief Arnold Williams, the stabbing was the result of a disagreement over a woman at the pool party. According to DPD, one male suspect stabbed four persons after the argument.

 
That stabbing killed two people: a 30-year-old male and a 20-year-old woman. Two additional males in their thirties were hospitalized, with one in critical condition.

The suspect is not yet in police custody, but police have identified a person of interest.

 

“Over these last couple days, we’ve had this rash of violence,” Williams said. “Unexplainable, this again is one of those incidents. We had four people that were stabbed because somebody said something or somebody touched somebody, and that is not how we deal with any type of conflict. We have to do better.”
