A terrible occurrence has left the Maubane community stunned after a young woman, identified as Kgaogelo Nnonu, was savagely stabbed to death by her boyfriend outside Dubai Tarven on Thursday morning 2025-08-21.

According to sources, the perpetrator stabbed Kgaogelo several times before fleeing the area. The lover eventually resorted to social media to explain why he killed her, which enraged the people even more.

The disturbing posts have since circulated widely online, drawing anger and calls for swift justice. Community members have expressed their heartbreak, describing Kgaogelo as a vibrant young woman whose life was cut short in a senseless act of gender-based violence.

Makapanstad SAPS has not yet issued an official statement on the matter. It remains unclear whether the suspect has been apprehended or if an arrest warrant has been issued.
