The father was detained on Wednesday after tenants reported hearing the youngster scream and being abused multiple times.

Johannesburg District Police Commissioner Major General Nonhlanhla Khubeka stated, "We had to set up the Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit because we had certain suspicions. When they arrived at the crime scene, they searched the residence and discovered some bloodstained garments. The mother of the kid was already in the hospital. The FCS went to the child's mother and investigated her, and she verified that the father had abused both children. We had to arrest both the boy and his mother."
