A Starbucks barista in Middletown, Ohio, has been fired after a female client claimed the staff scrawled 'racists fav drink' on her cup after she requested Charlie Kirk's favorite beverage.
On September 21, Autumn Perkins posted a photo on Facebook of a drink she ordered from a Starbucks inside a Kroger on Towne Boulevard in Middletown. Vice President JD Vance grew up in the Ohio city.
Perkins wrote in her post that she was buying his favorite Starbucks drink, a 'Mint Majesty' tea with two honeys, as countless Kirk admirers did since his death.
Perkins said she was surprised when she discovered the alleged message. She posted a photo of the cup on Facebook.
‘The girl at Starbucks thought she was cute,’ stated Perkins in the post. ‘I don’t even support Starbucks bc of everything they stand for starting with their satanic logo, but I support Charlie Kirk so I thought you know what… I’ll get his drink.’
‘Thank you Starbucks for proving to me exactly why I prefer to support my small local Christian owned and operated coffee shop. Well done,’ she wrote.
Speaking to FOX News, Perkins said, ‘It’s time for people to stop this nonsense.’
‘I would agree that people should be fired if they’re doing something like this,’ adding that ‘actions have repercussions.’
