Footage shows Charlie Kirk suspect, Skye Valadez limping towards UVU campus in Orem, Utah before shooting believed to be carrying, concealing weapon

Federal investigators obtained surveillance footage that they feel is critical to the continuing investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination.

According to the FBI, video footage from neighborhood doorbell cameras in Orem, Utah, purports to show the identified person of interest coming toward the Utah Valley University (UVU) campus just before the shooting.

The footage, time stamped at 11:49 a.m. on Wednesday and released by TMZ, shows a man dressed entirely in black, which is consistent with the FBI's description and images of the 'person of interest', Skye Valadez, a transgender musician and alleged Charlie Kirk assassin, according to internet sleuths.

The guy is seen moving along a residential street near the UVU campus with a noticeable limping walk.

Officials suspect this peculiar movement is related to the concealing of a handgun beneath his clothing.

Just three minutes later, at 11:52 a.m., the FBI confirmed that the suspect had arrived on the UVU campus where Kirk was shot. Investigators discovered a bolt-action rifle, especially a Mauser.30-06, at the scene.

Authorities believe the weapon was hidden beneath the suspect's clothing, which could explain the odd walking pattern seen on doorbell surveillance video.

Footage recorded shortly after the shooting shows a contrasting scene: that of a sniper sprinting along the roof of a building some 200 yards from a tent where they had moments ago just shot Charlie Kirk dead.

The FBI according to TMZ said they canvased the neighborhood near campus searching for any surveillance videos of the person of interest, with doorbell videos since turned over to law enforcement for analyses.

Interestingly, another video shows law enforcement scouring a wooded location that looks very similar to where the man fled after the shooting. The FBI says they found the shooter's firearm in a forested area, but it's unclear if that's where surveillance video was recorded.

The FBI acknowledged that officers thoroughly scoured the surrounding neighborhood, collecting surveillance footage from private dwellings and businesses.

New images released by the FBI shows Charlie Kirk suspect caught on surveillance tape leading up to UVU assassination.
Those tapes, which are now in the hands of federal law enforcement, are being extensively examined as part of the manhunt for the assassin, as the FBI requests the public's assistance.

Authorities are now offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the killer’s arrest, after claiming they knew the name of the person of interest, but did not publicly reveal their identity.
