Kayla Solomon, a Fox 13 reporter, killed a man named Shayne Scanlan in a motorbike crash

According to reports, William Shayne Scanlan died after being killed by Kayla Solomon.

A lady was detained and charged on Monday after a vehicle crashed with a motorcycle on Central Avenue, killing a man Saturday night. Read more here.

Kayla Solomon, 29, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant.

According to a police incident report, Solomon was doing a U-turn in her Ford Fiesta to turn westbound when she collided with the victim's Suzuki motorcycle, which was traveling eastward on Central.

She is charged with Failure to Yield Right Of Way resulting in Death, Failure to Exercise Due Care and Making a U-Turn on a Curve or Hill, all misdemeanors. Police say she stayed on the scene.
