According to information hitting our desks, Romeca Meeks was shot dead by another lady suspected of being babymama in front of her son's school on 22nd State and Cermak.

According to intel, a baby mom killed Romeca Meeks in front of her son's school.

A 31-year-old woman was shot and died in the South Loop on Monday morning.

The fatal shooting occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of South State Street.

Police said the victim was involved in a physical altercation with another woman, when the offender took out a gun and fired it — striking the the 31-year-old woman in the face.

Police said the victim was transported to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The offender was taken into custody. Area Dectectives are investigating.
