The Ghana Police Service's Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has arrested Samuel Amoah, also known as Biggie, in connection with the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Alberta Armah Hagan, and her two children at Tuba Net-Link Estates, a Kasoa neighborhood in the Central Region.

Amoah was apprehended on September 17, 2025, after a year on the run.

Addressing the media in Accra over the weekend, CID Director-General COP Lydia Yaako Donkor stated that the incident took place on May 19, 2024, when officers attended to a distress call reporting a violent attack in a home.

Upon arrival, police discovered the body of 39-year-old Alberta Hagan and two of her children in their bedroom, lying in a pool of blood.

A third child was found alive but severely injured with deep head cuts and bleeding from the ear, while a five-month-old baby was located unharmed on a sofa in the living room.

The injured child was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while the deceased were sent to the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.

Amoah fled the scene and evaded arrest for more than a year. However, after months of intelligence-led operations, police arrested him on September 17, 2025, at Suhum in the Eastern Region.

During interrogation, Amoah confessed to the killings and expressed remorse.

He is currently in custody, assisting with investigations, and will soon face charges including m8rder.
