FBI investigators released security footage showing the gunman who reportedly shot and killed Charlie Kirk 'jumping from the roof' and fleeing immediately after opening fire from a sniper position around 200 yards away from where the conservative firebrand was speaking.
In the video, the suspect is seen running across the roof of Utah Valley University's Lossee Center in Orem.
Once he reaches the edge, the suspect can be seen climbing down and jumping to the ground, leaving behind a palm print and a shoe print that FBI agents are using for DNA testing in their search for the Charlie Kirk killer.
Where did Charlie Kirk assassin flee to?
Footage shows the wanted man running from the building before beginning to blend and stroll with the crowd. The gunman according to the FBI then casually walks toward a street at the edge of campus, where police say he ducked into a wooded area, from where investigators later located a high-powered rifle, in which three remaining bullets in the chamber matched the one used to kill Kirk.
The bullets according to the FBI were etched with transgender and anti-fascist ideations.
The suspect then apparently fled into a residential neighborhood.
Beau Mason, the head of Utah’s Department Public Safety, said officials ‘have no idea’ about the suspect’s identity or where he may be located.
Nevertheless internet sleuths believe they have uncovered the identity of the alleged gunman as transgender Utah musician of Ogden going by the name of Skye Valadez.
Released FBI images of the shooter wearing a distinctive t-shirt and a baseball cap with a triangle on it appear to match those of the alleged shooter uncovered on the internet. The alleged assassin, had months ago according to sleuths released a musical project on Soundcloud titled, God’s Finest Scalpel titled ‘Death to American Scum’ featuring a track called ‘Charlie Kirk’s death isn’t enough for me.’
The FBI admits they have no idea where Charlie Kirk's assassin is and asks the public for help.
The song, 'Charlie Kirk Dead at 31,' was posted on SoundCloud and stored online in March 2025, months before Kirk was killed. The song and album were no longer available on Soundcloud, as were Valadez's social media accounts, which had been temporarily removed Thursday afternoon.

Watch the video, look at the gun that they apparently "found in the woods", and then explain it to me like you still trust your government. #CharlieKirk pic.twitter.com/mJSWE9dsQB
While officials have yet to publicly reply to reports that the assassin is Valadez, they are now offering $100,000 for information leading to the arrest of the claimed gunman and have requested the public to keep an eye out for the culprit.
‘We cannot do our job without the public’s help right now,’ Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said at a news conference Thursday night, adding that authorities have already received over 7,000 tips and have conducted more than 200 interviews.

‘We literally have persons of interest, tips coming in on the tip line that are spanning far and wide.’
It had earlier been reported that officials had the name of the suspect, but were not releasing it to the public.
