Wild moments on a Queens bus resulted in a now-viral video of youths threatening another boy with a machete and pepper spray.

The after-school battle became out of control on Atlantic Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard, with the bus driver caught in the crossfire.

"Basically, someone was being chased onto his bus, and they were being chased by someone with a machete," explained Alex Kemp, VP of TWU Local 100.

Around 2:30 p.m. on September 12, video shows the 54-year-old driver getting off the Q24 bus to try to de-escalate the situation.

“He projected a presence I believe saved people from getting hurt,” Kemp said.

Kemp, the driver’s union vice president, said his colleague ultimately suffered the consequences and was maced along with a teen in the video.

“We decided it was in the best interest of the community to post so parents could see what their kids are doing,” said Sam Esposito, who shared the video on the Ozone Park Block Association Facebook page.

Esposito said social media users helped police identify some of the teens, leading to the arrest of a 15-year-old boy accused of wielding the machete, Monday. The NYPD said he was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. At least one other teen who ran from the scene is still being sought.
