Authorities in Botshabelo, South Africa, are investigating a shocking incident in which Pitsi Malepe, a local sangoma and DStv installer, allegedly killed his wife and her sister while live-streaming the crime on Facebook.

According to reports, the horrifying act was broadcast in real time, leaving the community in disbelief. After committing the murders, Malepe reportedly issued threats to both residents and police, vowing to “teach everyone a lesson” over what he claimed was mistreatment and the destruction of his property.

Following the killings, Malepe allegedly posted a farewell message on social media directed at his late partner, which read:

“Rest in peace, my love. All of this happened because of you and your mother’s actions.”

Authorities believe Malepe may have also planned to take his own life, though police have not yet confirmed his current whereabouts or condition.
