Jonatan Nanita Arrested for Assisting Girlfriend Karla Garcia in the Killing of Her Daughter, Jacqueline Mimi Torres

Police in Connecticut have arrested Jonatan Nanita in connection with the murder of 13-year-old Jacqueline Mimi Torres, allegedly carried out with his girlfriend, Karla Garcia, at a residence on 80 Clark Street.

According to authorities, officers responding to the scene conducted a search of the property, where they discovered a large container in the backyard near the fence line. Inside, officers reportedly found what appeared to be human remains, later believed to be those of the missing girl.

Following the discovery, a perimeter was secured around the property as Connecticut State Police joined the New Britain Police Department to assist with the ongoing investigation.

Police confirmed that both Nanita and Garcia are in custody and are being held pending further charges.
