Reward Offered to Catch Man Who Spent R10,000 on Alcohol Before Killing Tshiamo and Baleseng Moramaga in Mamelodi Ext 17

Shock and grief have gripped the Mamelodi East community after the tragic deaths of Tshiamo Moramaga (22) and Baleseng Moramaga (21) — two cousins who were found dead early Sunday morning, 26 October 2025, in Extension 17, Mamelodi East, Tshwane (Pretoria).

According to reports reaching our newsroom, a reward has been offered to help catch the man who allegedly spent R10,000 on alcohol with the two women before they were found murdered.

The bodies of Tshiamo and Baleseng were discovered on Sompisi Street around 6:15 a.m., after community members alerted authorities to the horrific scene. Police confirmed that both victims had sustained gunshot wounds to the head, and a double-murder investigation has been officially opened.

Residents in the area reported hearing an argument followed by several gunshots in the early hours of the morning. One neighbor alleged hearing Tshiamo’s desperate plea moments before the shooting:

“Please leave me alone, you will make me make a mistake.”

When police arrived, one of the victims’ cellphones appeared to have been stolen, while the other woman’s phone was found in her pocket.

Family members of the two women are devastated, describing Tshiamo and Baleseng as inseparable cousins who did everything together. The senseless violence has left loved ones and neighbors calling for justice and accountability.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect — or the events leading up to the shooting — to contact the Gauteng police immediately
