All Eyes on Eric Mullaly After Woman Suspected to Be Son’s Girlfriend Is Found Dead in Estherville

All eyes have turned to Eric Mullaly after a woman — rumored online to be his son’s girlfriend — was found unresponsive late Monday night in Estherville. While police have not confirmed her identity or any relationship to the Mullaly family, the incident has fueled growing public interest as the investigation continues.

According to Estherville Police, officers were called at 11:03 p.m. to the 200 block of South 17th Street after reports of a woman lying on the ground. When officers arrived, they discovered the woman unresponsive, and EMS immediately transported her to a local hospital. Despite attempts to save her, she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities say an autopsy will be performed by the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny to determine the cause of death. As of now, the woman’s name has not been released.

Police emphasized that they do not believe there is any threat to the public, calling the case isolated. The investigation is still active, and officials have shared no information connecting Eric Mullaly or his family to the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

Even so, speculation online has placed Mullaly at the center of attention, with many awaiting updates as authorities work to determine what happened.
