Chicago Mother Defends Daughter After Fight With Corshawnda Hatter’s Children Outside Orville T. Bright Elementary School [VIDEO]

Another mother, Yaz St. Patrick, publicly defended and praised her daughter after a violent altercation involving Bigshawno Macwithdafatcat Corshawnda at Orville T. Bright Elementary School in Chicago.

According to reports, Chicago mother Corshawnda Hatter and her two children were violently attacked and left hospitalized after a group of kids allegedly jumped them. Hatter shared her experience in an emotional social media post, explaining that she was walking with her son and daughter when several kids suddenly ambushed them — an assault that was caught on camera.

Hatter, who is gravely ill and battling sickle cell anemia, said her son had been repeatedly bullied at Orville T. Bright School. She claims she reached out to school staff for help, but nothing was done. During the attack, she says her son was beaten and slammed to the ground, her daughter’s hair was pulled, and she herself was beaten so badly that chunks of her hair were ripped out, leaving all three hospitalized.

 

Early this morning, protesters gathered outside the school with Hatter, demanding answers, accountability, and criminal charges against the kids involved.

Amid the growing backlash, one of the mothers whose child participated in the attack — Yaz St. Patrick — took to Facebook to defend her daughter. Her post reads:

**“Lemme say this 1st My daughter is a great ass kid, she’s an A/B student, Captain of the Cheerleading Team, ahead of her class and some more shit! All good things from every teacher. IFYKYK. We don’t owe NOBODY an apology but that lady and her kids, so all y’all grown mfs looking for a viral moment please shut tf up cuz kids gon be kids and it’s kids out here that did way worse shit. Let alone y’all ass when y’all was 12 and 13 years old — y’all ass used to be out here beating up crackheads and all.
