Authorities have arrested Kaylee Fontenot and Taylor Daniel following the tragic death of their infant daughter, Alora Faye Broussard.

The infant was rushed to a hospital but was later pronounced dead. Police reported that Alora Faye had suffered serious injuries, including broken ribs, a severed lower spine, and signs of extreme malnutrition and dehydration.

Investigators confirmed that Fontenot and Daniel had exclusive custody of Alora Faye since her birth, raising concerns about ongoing abuse prior to the child’s death.

On November 3, Taylor Daniel turned himself in and was booked into St. Landry Parish Jail. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the infant’s death.
