A pregnant Michigan woman who disappeared earlier this month has been found dead, according to officials in Wexford County. Rebecca Kay Park, 22, was reported missing on November 3, prompting an extensive search across Boon Township and surrounding areas.
Search crews discovered a body believed to be Park during a coordinated search effort on Tuesday. The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police confirmed that the remains were located in the Manistee National Forest in Boon Township. According to 9 & 10 News, Park’s father was the one who ultimately found her along a two-track road near her mother’s home.
Authorities said the body matches Park’s description, but positive identification is pending an autopsy. Officials say the investigation remains active, and additional details will be released as they become available.
Timeline of Disappearance
Park was last seen on November 3 getting into a dark-colored vehicle outside her mother’s home on South 21 1/2 Road in Boon Township. At the time, she was 39 weeks pregnant, stood 5'2", and weighed around 140 pounds. After she left in the vehicle, her cellphone was later discovered discarded on a nearby two-track road by her mother.

Social Media Discussion
A Facebook page, Abby Blabby True Crime News, circulated posts referencing the criminal histories of both Bartholomew and Falor, including claims of past sexual-assault–related convictions. These details have not been officially confirmed by investigators and remain part of ongoing online discussion rather than verified law-enforcement statements.
Financial Activity and Safety Concerns
Investigators noted that Park received approximately $2,000 from a family inheritance on the day she disappeared—an amount authorities suggested might allow someone to avoid electronic tracking. Despite this, friends told investigators that Park had made no plans to leave the area.
Authorities also said they believed Park and her unborn child could have been in danger. They noted the possibility that the baby may have been born before Park died, adding that Park may not have had the resources or ability to care for an infant alone. Officials have not disclosed the child’s current status; Park’s due date had been November 19.
Ongoing Investigation
It remains unclear how Park ended up in the location where she was found or whether her body was placed there. The cause and manner of death are pending autopsy results, and investigators have not said whether foul play is suspected. No arrests have been made.
Prior to the discovery of her body, a $12,000 reward had been offered for information leading to Park’s whereabouts. Anyone with relevant information was previously advised to contact Wexford Central Dispatch at 231-779-9211 and ask for a sheriff’s deputy.
