Mother and Stepfather Accused of Torturing Pregnant Daughter

Park was last seen late on Nov. 3 in the Cadillac/Boon Township area, after witnesses saw her get into a dark-colored vehicle outside her mother’s home. Authorities now allege that Cortney and Bradly lured Park to their Wexford County home, where they tortured her in an attempt to remove her nearly full-term baby, resulting in the deaths of both mother and child.

The charges filed against the couple include:

  • First-degree murder

  • Felony murder

  • Torture

  • Conspiracy to commit torture

  • Assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage/stillbirth

  • Conspiracy to commit that assault

  • Unlawful imprisonment

  • Removal of a dead body

Each murder and torture charge carries a potential life sentence.

Body Matching Park Found in National Forest — Baby Still Missing

On Nov. 25, investigators discovered a body matching Park’s description in the Manistee National Forest, according to Michigan State Police.

Kimberly Park, Richard Falor.
An autopsy later confirmed that Park was no longer pregnant when she died, leading authorities to continue searching “diligently” for the infant’s remains.

The condition and location of the baby remain unknown.

Family Members Arrested on Unrelated Charges

After Park’s remains were found, two additional people — her younger sister Kimberly Park, 21, and her fiancé Richard Falor, 43 — were booked into the Wexford County Jail on unrelated charges.

Kimberly was arraigned on:

  • Tampering with evidence

  • Lying to police

  • Filing a false report

Falor was arraigned on two counts of delivering methamphetamine.

Authorities have not connected their arrests to Rebecca’s murder but confirmed that the broader investigation is ongoing.

Authorities Continue Search for Answers

Park was 38–39 weeks pregnant at the time of her death. Investigators have not disclosed a suspected motive, nor have they shared whether the unborn child may have survived temporarily after the alleged assault.

Officials emphasize that the search for the missing baby remains a top priority.
