Rishabh Saxena Speaks Out After Wedding Called Off Over Alleged ₹20 Lakh Cash and Brezza Car Demand [VIDEO]

Rishabh Saxena Speaks Out After Wedding Called Off Over Alleged ₹20 Lakh Cash and Brezza Car Demand

Reports circulating online say Rishabh Saxena, the groom in a recently cancelled wedding in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, has spoken publicly after the bride called off the marriage over an alleged demand for ₹20 lakh in cash and a Maruti Brezza car.

According to Saxena’s account, the wedding was cancelled after the bride refused to proceed with the marriage, citing concerns about alleged dowry demands made shortly before the pheras. Saxena, however, disputes that version of events and says the marriage broke down for different reasons.

Saxena claims that the bride did not want to marry him because of his plus-size body and that he was subjected to repeated body-shaming during their interactions. He alleges that these personal remarks ultimately led to the collapse of the relationship.

In a further claim, Saxena stated that the bride’s family is now demanding ₹50 lakh and ownership of his newly built house in exchange for withdrawing what he describes as a false dowry case filed against him. These allegations have not been independently verified.

Conflicting Narratives Emerge

Meanwhile, a separate narrative shared widely on social media presents a contrasting account. Posts claim that the bride boldly cancelled the wedding on the spot after the groom’s side allegedly demanded ₹20 lakh in cash and a Brezza car moments before the wedding rituals. Supporters of the bride have praised her decision, describing it as a stand against greed and dowry practices.

The incident, which reportedly took place in Bareilly, has sparked intense debate online, with sharply divided opinions and competing versions of events.

As of now, authorities have not issued an official statement clarifying the circumstances surrounding the cancelled wedding or the legal claims involved.
