Family and friends are mourning the sudden loss of Bryce Goffart, a spring 2025 graduate of West Allegheny Senior High School, who died in a fatal car accident on December 21, 2025.
Goffart, a Pittsburgh resident, was attending barber school after his high school graduation. He is survived by his parents and two siblings, Sydney and Bentley. No additional details about the crash have been released.
In the wake of the tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign was created to support Goffart’s family. The fundraiser aims to cover expenses related to his celebration of life, time away from work, therapy and mental health support, assistance for his siblings, and other family needs. Within hours of being set up, it had raised just over $13,000 of a $16,000 goal.
Bryce’s father, Evan Goffart, shared his grief on Facebook:
"Early this morning we received news that Bryce was in a fatal car accident. We lost an amazing person today that has touched so many lives in his short stay here. We all know he was one of a kind. I want to thank everyone for the support we have gotten today—the texts, the calls, just showing up at our house and helping guide us through this process."
Bryce’s passing has left a profound impact on the community, and friends, family, and classmates continue to honor his memory and celebrate his life.
