Authorities are investigating a shooting involving a toddler near 32nd Street and Broadway Road in Phoenix, Arizona, after reports surfaced that Joanna Royalty Sinclair may be involved in the incident.

According to Phoenix police, officers were called to the area just before 12 p.m. Tuesday following a report of “unknown trouble.” When officers arrived, they located a toddler suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

The child, whose age has not been released, was rushed to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police officials said.
