New evidence has surfaced indicating Shiquan Daniels is not responsible for the disappearance of Destiny Nunu, following days of speculation and online accusations.
Shiquan Daniels took to social media to share a video and detailed explanation, stating that Destiny Nunu was, in fact, the aggressor during a dispute at his home. According to Daniels, Destiny allegedly damaged multiple items in his residence before leaving. He shared footage and context in an effort to clear his name after allegations began circulating online.
Despite earlier claims suggesting she was missing, Destiny Nunu was reportedly located alive and well on the other side of town, according to Daniels. However, as of now, her exact whereabouts have not been publicly confirmed by authorities.
Daniels also accused Destiny’s mother, identified as CeeCee Sjorty, of spreading false information and making misleading claims to both the public and law enforcement. He alleged that she posted his home address online, contacted police under false pretenses, and attempted to portray him as a danger to his child. In a lengthy statement, Shiquan Daniels wrote:
“Her mom really lied on my name, posted where I live, called the police, tried to lie to the police like she just wanted to check on the baby—like I’m a danger to my son. How, if Destiny trusted me enough to leave him with me before she disappeared? She never told her mom to come get our baby. Her mom came to get that phone, and because I didn’t answer my door, she started making up all types of stuff. Now I’m on a news page being slandered.”
Daniels further stated that police were aware of his location and that no arrest had been made, which he believes supports his claim of innocence. He emphasized that he still has custody of his child and questioned why no legal action had been taken against him if the accusations were true.
“If I take legal action, don’t say nothing,” Daniels added, accusing Destiny’s mother of overstepping boundaries and attempting to interfere in their relationship by creating a damaging narrative.
As the situation continues to unfold, no official statement has been released by law enforcement confirming criminal wrongdoing by Shiquan Daniels. The case highlights how quickly unverified claims can spread online, potentially causing lasting harm to those involved.
