William Mcgriff has been arrested after a shooting incident during a live stream.

According to police, William Mcgriff was arrested for shooting a gun into the air on Halifax Ave. during New Year’s Eve.

Authorities confirmed that Mcgriff was recording live on Facebook at the time of the incident, and the footage helped police obtain a search warrant.

During the search, officers recovered a firearm and ammunition.

William Mcgriff has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and reckless use of a firearm.
