A man identified as Archie Giavontae Deangelis has reportedly been arrested after allegedly making inappropriate comments to a 12-year-old boy while delivering food in Winston-Salem, according to accounts shared by the child’s mother and circulated online.
The boy’s mother, Andria Frazier, said she placed a food delivery order Tuesday evening and that the delivery arrived around 7:00 p.m. She claims the driver was Deangelis, age 34, and that her home’s doorbell camera recorded the interaction when her son opened the door to receive the order.
According to Frazier, the video captured the driver allegedly telling the child, “You are beautiful, are you taken?” The boy, sounding confused, reportedly responded, “What?” before the man repeated the question. The door was then shut.
Public registry listings for a man with the same name show a September 16, 2025 conviction for sexual battery and registration in Forsyth County. Such registry status reflects a prior court finding and does not automatically indicate guilt in any new allegation. The delivery platform’s safety guidelines prohibit harassment and inappropriate conduct, and the company advises customers who experience troubling interactions to save any footage, report the incident in-app, and contact local law enforcement so authorities can investigate.
As of the latest available information, no official statement from local police or prosecutors has confirmed details of new charges tied to this specific encounter. Reports indicate the situation may still be under review, and further updates would depend on statements from investigators or court filings.
