A legal complaint filed in France alleges that Lélio Le Besson, Jacques-Élie Favrot, and Adrien Besseyre were present when a man identified as Quentin D. was fatally attacked in Lyon, according to statements cited in the filing.
The complaint specifically names Jacques-Élie Favrot — described as a parliamentary assistant to Raphaël Arnault at the National Assembly — as being present at the scene. It claims he was among individuals involved in the incident, though these allegations have not been proven in court. Reports indicate no disciplinary action has been announced against him, and he remains formally attached to his parliamentary role.
Through his lawyer, Favrot has denied responsibility for Quentin’s death. However, according to statements attributed to the complaint and witnesses, he does not dispute that he was present during the assault. Multiple complainants reportedly allege he was there alongside individuals described as antifascist activists linked to Jeune Garde Lyon.
Favrot has stated he is stepping back from his duties as a parliamentary assistant while the investigation proceeds. The organization Jeune Garde has also denied any responsibility for the killing, asserting that since its dissolution it no longer carries out actions or activities.
Authorities have not publicly confirmed charges against the individuals named, and the investigation is ongoing.
