Ghanaian authorities have arrested Russian national Yaytseslav Trahov, who was reportedly detained while attempting to flee following allegations that he engaged in relationships with multiple women.
According to circulating reports, Trahov allegedly operated across several countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana, where he was said to approach women in public places such as malls, churches, clubs, estates, and transport stations. After obtaining their phone numbers, he allegedly invited them to his residence.
Claims online allege that he recorded encounters and kept footage, though officials have not publicly confirmed those allegations or provided details about any evidence.
Reports also claim that many of the women involved were married, but authorities have not verified that information.
Police have not yet released full details about possible charges, and investigations are ongoing.
