A Davenport couple, Chadillac Saurus Rexx, 40, and his wife Manda Saurus Rexx, 35, are facing multiple felony charges after authorities discovered dozens of firearms inside their home.
According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, deputies — along with assisting law enforcement agencies — executed a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of Bridge Avenue in Davenport as part of an ongoing drug investigation that began in October 2025.
38 Guns and Drug-Related Evidence Found
During the search, deputies reportedly located a crack pipe and 38 firearms, seven of which were unsecured. Authorities stated that Manda Rexx is a convicted felon.
Investigators also said a review of Chadillac Rexx’s phone allegedly revealed a pattern of illegal drug use and evidence of drug sales dating back to 2018.
Fraudulent Firearm Purchases Alleged
Court documents allege that Chadillac Rexx knowingly provided false information to firearms dealers at Davenport Guns and B&B Shooting Sports in order to purchase weapons. Officials say he falsely claimed he did not use drugs on 15 separate occasions to facilitate the transfer of firearms.
He now faces 15 counts of fraudulent purchase of firearms or ammunition, each classified as a Class D felony. He was arrested around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and is currently being held in the Scott County Jail on a $75,000 cash-only bond.
Charges Against Manda Rexx
Manda Rexx was booked into the Scott County Jail around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. As of Wednesday night, formal charging documents had not yet been filed, but jail records show she is facing:
-
Eight counts of dominion/control of a firearm or offensive weapon by a domestic abuse offender
-
Four counts of fraudulent purchase of firearms or ammunition
She is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
Records indicate Manda Rexx was previously arrested in Nebraska in 2023 in a separate incident where she was identified as Chadillac Rexx’s wife.
Ongoing Case
Authorities have not released additional details regarding potential drug-related charges as the investigation remains active. Both individuals remain in custody in Scott County as the case moves forward through the court system.
