Tulsa, Oklahoma — Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Sean Six, who was found with a gunshot wound to the chest early Thursday morning at a home near 124th Terrace and Kingston Avenue, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 2:45 a.m. Upon arrival, Six was transported to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

What Investigators Say Happened

Detectives report that Six arrived at the home where his ex-girlfriend was staying with a male friend. Concerned about potential retaliation following their breakup, the woman had asked her friend to stay with her.

Investigators believe Six initially attempted to enter the home through a window. When that failed, he reportedly kicked in the front door, forcibly entering the residence.

Inside, the male friend fired a single shot, striking Six in the chest. The individual who discharged the firearm was detained and interviewed by homicide detectives but was later released.

No arrests have been announced as police continue to review the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Friends of Six have spoken out, expressing outrage and calling for justice, stating they believe his death was unjust.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Tulsa Police Department as the investigation remains ongoing.
