Imagine taking a day off work to attend a sports event and finding yourself captured in high definition on the big screen. Now twist that scenario — you're the head of a company, and instead of a game, you're enjoying a Coldplay concert with someone who is definitely not your significant other. Crazy, right?

That’s precisely what happened to Andy Byron of Astronomer. He was seen getting close to a woman rumored to be his mistress while his girlfriend was conspicuously absent. The moment the camera focused on them during the show, they both quickly attempted to shield their faces — but not before their affectionate moment was broadcasted for the entire audience to see. Understandably, the internet is ablaze with gossip about it.

During Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour, their earlier performance in Boston drew attention after inadvertently revealing an alleged affair.

At the Gillette Stadium concert in Boston, a “kiss cam” moment took an unexpected turn when the camera found Andy Byron and Astronomer’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot. The crowd erupted in cheers, and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin jokingly remarked, “Oh look at these two,” as Byron, who had been holding Cabot, quickly removed his arms and ducked behind a barrier. Cabot, clearly flustered, hid her face with her hands.

This was met with laughter from the audience as Martin humorously noted, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

As per Byron's LinkedIn profile, he has held the CEO position at the billion-dollar software company Astronomer since July 2023. Cabot, who joined the company nine months prior, describes herself as Chief People Officer, emphasizing her skill in “building trust with employees at all levels.”

But trust is likely the last thing on people’s minds right now. Clips of the cringe-worthy encounter have gone viral on TikTok and X, garnering thousands of shares and inciting a wave of accusations. Numerous users have criticized Byron for reportedly cheating on his wife, while others have expressed sympathy for her, wherever she may be.

Online reactions to the alleged affair have varied. One user commented, "Honestly they would have been better off not doing anything. Nobody would have commented on that." Another remarked, "Taking your cheating partner to a public concert with cameras is just wild. I pity his wife."

A third user mused, "I don’t know what’s worse… finding out that your spouse is cheating or that they’re fans of Coldplay?" Another noted, "CEO and HR manager caught having an affair at a Coldplay concert on the jumbotron! Now the office environment seems toxic too." One individual even referenced Coldplay's well-known song, saying, "When you try your best but you don't succeed." READ MORE

In the meantime, some internet users have located his wife's Facebook profile and are threatening to disclose everything.

Neither Byron nor Cabot has publicly addressed the allegations surrounding the affair, but that hasn’t quelled the speculation. The company’s LinkedIn page is buzzing with inquisitive users posting comments and questions about the rumored office romance, turning what should have been a concert highlight into an intricate corporate enigma.
