Chris stabbed student Michael Montoya to death with scissors after robbing him of his gun at Maryvale High School in Phoenix

On Tuesday, a brawl broke out inside a Phoenix high school, killing one of the students. According to eyewitnesses, Chris backdoored Michael Montoya before using a scissor to end his life.

"So yesterday Michael (the victim) and Chris (the stabber) met up to deal and Michael ends up robbing him of his gun, so Chris gets mad asf and gets on ft w his friend and his twin and was like mad asf telling them he was gonna kill him and obviously they don't take it seriously, but then y everything went down, basically it was intentional from the start." "This is the truth."

At around 11 a.m. Tuesday, Phoenix police were called to Maryvale High School, near 59th Avenue and Osborn Road, for a stabbing call. 

Officials say the incident started with a fight between two male students inside a classroom and escalated.

The second student is in police custody in connection to the stabbing. Police have not identified the student, but say he is a teenage boy.

School will be on a modified schedule on Wednesday and counselors will be made available, officials announced.

Video from the scene showed multiple police vehicles outside the campus and police tape.
