Reactions as vlogger, TG Thailand Girl, is detained for internet libel in Koronadal City [PHOTOS]

Famous vlogger Jeren Jude Bacas Nebit, 28, also known as Thailand Girl, and another individual were detained after Koronadal City police filed an arrest warrant at 11:56 a.m. on August 8, 2025. 

Around 11:56 a.m. on August 8, a joint squad from the Koronadal City Police Station, the San Pedro Police Station in Davao City, and the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit (RACU) 12 served an arrest warrant on Bacas, a 28-year-old resident of Brgy. Morales in Koronadal City.

On May 20, 2025, Hon. Clarissa M. Superable-Develos, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 52, Davao City, issued the warrant.

Police confirmed that the accused was informed of their constitutional rights and is currently in custody, awaiting the commitment order from the court of origin.
