187 Derrick Killed by Unknown Men in Lake Charles Shooting

NBA YoungBoy’s 4KT associate, 187 Derrick, was fatally shot in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on October 3, 2025. The shooting occurred late Friday night near Juicy’s Lounge on Third Avenue, leaving fans of the rapper’s circle in shock and mourning.

According to Lake Charles Police Department spokesperson Lt. Jeffrey Keenum, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man critically injured in the parking lot. He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

While police have not formally confirmed the victim’s name, social media and community sources have identified him as 187 Derrick, a close friend of NBA YoungBoy and a member of 4KT.

Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing. No arrests have been made, and there is currently no known motive or identified suspect. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward, noting that anonymous tips are accepted.
