Atlanta, GA — Police are searching for two women accused of shooting a Burger King employee in the chest following a heated argument over an incorrect food order late Friday evening in East Atlanta.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 8 p.m. at the Burger King located at 1130 Moreland Ave SE. Upon arrival, officers found a 35-year-old female employee suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. She was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
According to 11Alive News, the altercation began when two female customers in the drive-thru became upset over their order. The confrontation escalated after the pair entered the restaurant, allegedly spitting at employees and throwing items before one of them drew a firearm and shot the worker.
