Carlton D. Mack on the Run After Killing Ex-Girlfriend Jasmine Singleton in Clinton — Police Launch Manhunt Following Fatal Shooting on Cedar Hill Drive

Authorities in Clinton, Mississippi, are searching for Carlton D. Mack, 42, who is accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend, Jasmine Singleton, 45, late Sunday night.

According to Clinton Police, officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Cedar Hill Drive shortly after 11:00 p.m. on October 20, 2025, where they discovered Jasmine Singleton deceased on the kitchen floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and seeing a gold Chevrolet Tahoe speeding away from the scene. Surveillance footage later confirmed those accounts.

Investigators identified the suspect as Carlton D. Mack, the victim’s ex-boyfriend, who has a history of domestic violence arrests. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Jackson, prompting a multi-agency search effort.
