The incident unfolded just after 2:30 a.m. Friday in the 6600 block of South Normal Avenue in Englewood. Officers responding to reports of a person shot discovered two victims, identified as 38-year-old Dewanda Dagen and 44-year-old Noonie “Cat” Thurmond.
