Jasmine Singleton a Clinton, Mississippi Woman Fatally Shot by Ex-Boyfriend Carlton Mack

 

A Mississippi woman, identified as Jasmine Singleton, 45, was shot and killed inside her home by her ex-boyfriend, Carlton D. Mack, 42, who remains at large, authorities said.

The tragic incident occurred on Monday, October 20, at Singleton’s residence on Cedar Hill Drive in Clinton, Mississippi. Police responding to the scene found Singleton deceased on the kitchen floor, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to WAPT.

Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and later saw a gold Chevrolet Tahoe fleeing the scene. The vehicle, believed to belong to Mack, was later found abandoned in Jackson, officials confirmed.

Carlton Mack, who has a history of domestic violence arrests, has been named the primary suspect in the case and is currently wanted by police.

Authorities have launched a statewide manhunt, urging anyone with information about Mack’s whereabouts to come forward.
