According to reports, Givan was discovered in the woods two days ago. Despite the official suicide determination, his family insists he was not suicidal and that the circumstances surrounding his death suggest foul play.

Family members say Jayvon had recently moved from Kansas City to New Mexico for a new job and a fresh start, describing him as motivated and in good spirits. “That is not the behavior of someone planning to take their own life,” relatives stated.

Concerns have also been raised over a disturbing pattern — three Black men have been found hanging from trees within the past month, sparking outrage and demands for deeper investigation.
