Miami, FL — Two Florida women, Marlene Edward, 25, and Kim Aime, 26, were arrested after allegedly attacking a married couple during a violent road rage incident fueled by drugs and alcohol on Sunday afternoon.
The confrontation occurred near Northeast 167th Street and Northeast 2nd Avenue after Edward and Aime’s vehicle nearly collided with the couple’s car. According to police, the two women — reportedly intoxicated and under the influence of drugs — exited their vehicle and attempted to force their way into the victims’ car before launching a physical attack.
The wife was struck multiple times, including with a Patrón tequila bottle, while lying on the ground. When her husband intervened, Aime allegedly punched him repeatedly, and Edward hit him in the face with the same bottle.
