Milwaukee Man, Leshon Christen Jr., Shot Dead While Sitting in Car in Harambee Neighborhood — No Arrests or Known Motive

Leshon Christen Jr., aged 33, was shot and killed while sitting in his car in Milwaukee’s Harambee neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office, Christen was found unresponsive in his vehicle near Clarke Street and Vel R. Phillips Avenue, around 2 p.m., and pronounced dead at the scene.

Reports by WTMJ state that Christen was in an alley behind his home, talking on the phone, when an unknown assailant opened fire. Authorities have not confirmed whether the attack was targeted or random.

Police said no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made as investigations continue. A motive behind the fatal shooting remains unclear.

The tragic killing has sparked widespread grief across social media.
