Anson Quandarius Henderson, 30, was tragically shot and killed in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday morning, November 8, following a domestic dispute with the mother of his children.
The incident took place at a residence on the 3200 block of 32nd Street North in the Collegeville neighborhood around 10:14 a.m. Police arrived at the scene after hearing gunshots and observed a car leaving the area at high speeds. Officers were able to stop the vehicle and arrest the driver, WBRC reported.
Upon arrival, officers found Henderson unresponsive on the porch of the residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. Initial investigations indicate that Henderson had been in an argument with the mother of his children, who left the house shortly before the shooting took place.

As of now, the identity of the suspect and their relationship to the deceased are not confirmed. Police have also stated that the mother of Henderson's children is not a suspect in the shooting. However, authorities have not disclosed whether the arrested individual is connected to the domestic dispute in any way.
