Painesville, Ohio – A deadly shooting outside Johnny Gringos restaurant in Painesville early Saturday morning left 52-year-old Bo Martin dead and a 28-year-old man, Dylan Stalnaker, in police custody.
According to the Painesville Police Department, officers and emergency personnel responded around 3:30 a.m. to Johnny Gringos, located at 11 Chester Street, following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, first responders found Martin suffering from a gunshot wound outside the restaurant. He was transported to University Hospital’s Lake West Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Stalnaker was detained at the scene by bystanders and taken into custody. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Cleveland Clinic’s Hillcrest Hospital before being booked into the Lake County Jail. He faces a murder charge and is being held without bond, with an arraignment scheduled for Monday at 1 p.m. in Painesville Municipal Court.
