Ada Igbo, a Nigerian mother of four living in Canada, has publicly called out her husband, Chinedu Michael Igbo, accusing him of infidelity that she says ultimately led to the breakdown of their marriage.
According to Ada, her husband allegedly impregnated their househelp, Dorcas Koromoto, whom she described as his side partner. Ada shared her account online, saying the situation pushed her to speak out after months of silence.
“I decided to speak out,” Ada wrote, explaining that she could no longer carry the emotional burden alone.
Approaching the one-year mark since the couple separated, Ada detailed the challenges she has faced as a single parent raising four children abroad. She said that since the separation, her estranged husband and his family have allegedly ignored repeated requests for both financial and emotional support.
Ada described the experience as deeply isolating, noting that the lack of communication and accountability has compounded the strain of forced single parenthood.
While Chinedu Michael Igbo has not publicly responded to the allegations, Ada said sharing her story was a way to reclaim her voice and shed light on what she described as betrayal and abandonment.
The situation has since sparked widespread discussion online, with many expressing sympathy for Ada and calling for greater accountability and support for women navigating marital breakdowns and single parenting.
