Memphis, TN – A Memphis security guard known online as “Keyy TheShooter,” identified by police as 25-year-old Kedread Fleming, was arrested after police say he opened fire on his ex-boyfriend, G Mu Ney, late Tuesday night.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. outside a business in the 5500 block of Mineral Wells Road in Southeast Memphis, where Fleming works as an armed security guard.

Responding officers found three spent 9mm shell casings at 5577 Mineral Wells Road. Fleming was not at his post when police arrived.
Fleming was taken into custody shortly afterward and booked into the Shelby County Jail. He is charged with Aggravated Assault and Domestic Assault and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
The situation has circulated widely online due to Fleming’s past viral moment, when he was publicly exposed in a situation involving a close friend, leading to both men coming out.
Police have not released further details about the argument preceding the shooting. The case remains under investigation.
