A tragic accident in East Sandwich, Massachusetts, has left the local community mourning after a 3-year-old child was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday afternoon on Service Road, according to local officials.
The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. between Quaker Meeting House Road and Chase Road. Sandwich Police and emergency responders arrived quickly, and the child was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
