Donneal Sandridge-Jones Arrested After Allegedly Using Facebook Dating to Lure and Attack Multiple Women

Donneal Darren Sandridge-Jones, a 31-year-old Detroit man, has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of violent assaults involving three women, according to Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy.

Prosecutors say Sandridge-Jones used Facebook Dating to meet the women and was in a dating relationship with each victim at the time of the alleged incidents. The victims include a 35-year-old and a 27-year-old woman from Detroit, and a 32-year-old woman from Taylor.

Court records state that on July 13, 2025, around 11:30 p.m., at Sandridge-Jones’ residence in the 12000 block of Elmdale Street in Detroit, a verbal argument with a woman escalated into violence. Prosecutors allege he physically assaulted the victim while armed with a knife, and also damaged her phone and vehicle. In that case, he has been charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, felonious assault, domestic violence, and malicious destruction of property.

A second and more severe incident allegedly occurred on January 20, 2026, at the same residence. Prosecutors say Sandridge-Jones, who was allegedly intoxicated, stabbed a 27-year-old woman multiple times in the neck and forced her to drive him to several locations while holding her at knifepoint. He now faces charges including assault with intent to murder, unlawful imprisonment, felonious assault, domestic violence, and malicious destruction of property.

A third case dates back to March 31, 2025, when prosecutors allege Sandridge-Jones threw a brick through a woman’s car window, then threw another brick that struck her in the face. He is charged with felonious assault and domestic violence in that incident.

Following an investigation by the Detroit Police Department, Sandridge-Jones was arrested on January 31, 2026, and arraigned on February 3, 2026. A judge set his bond at $500,000 cash or surety, with GPS tether and house arrest conditions.

His probable cause conference is scheduled for February 12, 2026, with a preliminary examination set for February 18, 2026. Prosecutors say additional updates will be released as the cases move through the court system.
